The County is approximately 1,413 square miles in size and has a population of approximately 46,000 (that includes 7 municipalities). The unincorporated area is largely rural with approximately 92.8% of the County’s Future Land Use being comprised of Natural Resources and Conservation (18%), Forestry/Rural Residential (42.4%) and Agricultural/Rural Residential (32.4%).

Responses are due October 12, 2026 at 9:00 AM EDT.

Questions must be submitted by September 23, 2026 at 10:00 AM EDT.
