What the agency needs

Invitation to Bid from Tampa International Airport - Tampa, FL

Tampa International Airport - Procurement has issued invitation to bid, solicitation 7385 25.

This Project consists of rehabilitating the asphalt apron located in front of the Fixed Base Operator (FBO) area at Tampa International Airport (TPA). The work includes milling and overlaying the existing asphalt pavement, adjusting or removing existing tie-downs, and replacing pavement markings and airfield signage as required.

The apron was originally constructed in 1991 as full-depth asphalt pavement and was micro-milled and seal coated in 2017, extending its service life beyond the FAA-recommended 20-year structural design life. The pavement has now reached approximately 34 years of service and exhibits widespread distress and weathering. This rehabilitation Project is intended to restore pavement condition and maintain safe and efficient operations in the FBO area.
