Community Park Restroom Construction

City of Pontiac MI - Housing Vitality has issued solicitations (rfq/rfp), solicitation 2026-RFP-0173.

The City of Pontiac through its Housing Vitality Division, of the Community Development Department, is seeking qualified contractors, design-build teams, manufacturers, or vendor-led contractor teams to provide new public restroom facilities at Aaron Perry Park, Jaycee Park, and Oakland Park. The project is intended to improve restroom access and visitor amenities while providing durable, accessible, safe, and maintainable facilities designed specifically for public park use.

The City is investing in improvements to its public parks and require restroom facilities at three locations to better serve residents and park visitors. The project presents an opportunity for qualified vendors to provide practical, durable, and aesthetically appropriate restroom solutions that can withstand heavy public use while addressing accessibility, security, and long-term maintenance needs. Because conditions vary among the three park sites, proposers should anticipate site specific considerations. Proposers are expected to review and verify existing conditions and demonstrate an approach that minimizes disruption to park users while delivering a quality, cost-effective facility.
