Asphalt Resurfacing of County Convenience Centers

Beaufort County, SC - Solid Waste has issued invitation for bid, solicitation 101326.

Beaufort County is soliciting bids from qualified and experienced contractors for asphalt resurfacing services at two County Convenience Centers. These two facilities serve thousands of residents each week, providing essential solid waste and recycling services. The County aims to improve the durability, safety, appearance, and overall condition of paved areas that accommodate daily vehicle and pedestrian traffic The project will include mobilization, site preparation to include cleaning and surface repair, milling and disposal of existing pavement, placement and compaction of new asphalt, pavement striping and marking, site cleanup and restoration, and coordinating third party testing. Contractors are expected to coordinate closely with County staff to ensure that resurfacing activities are conducted efficiently and with minimal disruption to the public, county staff, or contracted service providers. This initiative represents an important investment in the County’s infrastructure and public service facilities. Beaufort County seeks to partner with a qualified contractor who values quality workmanship, adherence to schedule, and the ability to deliver durable, long-lasting results.

Beaufort County is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for asphalt resurfacing services at County Convenience Centers. A total of two centers require asphalt resurfacing to maintain safe, accessible surfaces for public use and operational vehicles. The resurfacing work must be completed in a manner that allows continued operation of the Convenience Centers. Coordination with County staff will be required to ensure minimal disruption to site operations.
