The City of Pasadena Public Works Department, Building Systems and Fleet Management Division (BSFMD), is seeking a qualified vendor to provide short-tern rental of four (4) Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) side-loading refuse collection trucks and one (1) bin delivery truck. The rental equipment will support the City's refuse collection operations during temporary fleet shortages, maintenance activities, and other operational needs. The anticipated rental period is 28 consecutive days. All equipment shall be delivered to the City of Pasadena in fully operational condition and ready for immediate use.

The City of Pasadena operates refuse collection vehicles and related equipment to provide residential and commercial solid waste services. From time to time, additional vehicles are required to supplement the City's existing fleet due to maintenance, repairs, temporary equipment shortages, or other operational needs. The City requires temporary rental vehicles capable of performing normal refuse collection and container delivery activities. The four side-loading refuse collection trucks shall be powered by CNG and suitable for residential solid waste collection routes. The City also requires one bin/container delivery truck capable of transporting, delivering, positioning, and retrieving commercial refuse containers.

Responses are due October 13, 2026 at 3:00 PM PDT.
