Shasta County - Purchasing Department has issued request for proposals, solicitation 27-06.
The County of Shasta, through its Department of Support Services, Purchasing Division, invites responses to a Request for Proposals from qualified affordable housing developers seeking funding for the predevelopment, development, acquisition, rehabilitation, and preservation of permanent supportive housing projects that embrace 'Housing First' principles to combat homelessness with a focus on veterans. Eligible developers must have site control for their proposed use of Homekey+ funds. In alignment with the purposes of Homekey+, the project will serve households with an individual who is homeless, chronically homeless, or at risk of homelessness who are also living with a behavioral health challenge. Projects must be within the County of Shasta outside of the City of Redding limits. Only complete proposals that include site control will be evaluated.
Responses are due October 12, 2026 at 2:00 PM PDT.
Questions must be submitted by September 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM PDT.
