The improvements encompass the full lengths of 2nd Ave, 3rd Ave., 4th Ave., 5th Ave., 8th Ave., Canal St, Beaver Ln., Tulsa Ave. The project also includes the following segments: 6th Ave. from West End to Olivehurst Ave., 9th Ave. from Western Ave. to Olivehurst Ave., 10th Ave from Western Ave to Olivehurst Ave., 11th Ave. from Western Ave. to Olivehurst Ave., and Western Ave. from 2nd Ave. to 11th Ave. Associated road rehabilitation and improvements associated with drainage will also be accounted for in the project improvements.
The estimated cost of the project is $34,882,163 Complete the work within 500 working days. This project is State and Locally funded. There is no DBE goal for this project. No pre-bid meeting will be scheduled for this project. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashier’s check, or bid bond, in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to Yuba County Department of Public Works, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening. The County reserves the right after opening the bids to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid or bid submittal, and to award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, as it may best serve the interests of the County.
