Request For Qualification (RFQu) from City of Port St. Lucie - Port St. Lucie, FL
City of Port St. Lucie - Utility System has issued request for qualification (rfqu), solicitation 20260240.
The City of Port St. Lucie is soliciting proposals from qualified hydrogeologic consulting firms to provide professional hydrogeologic consulting services. The Consultant shall provide comprehensive hydrogeologic and water resource consulting services, including planning, technical evaluations, field investigations, permitting, construction phase services, and preparation of technical documentation. Emphasis shall include public water supply systems, groundwater quantity and quality, and regulatory coordination with state and regional agencies.
The City of Port St. Lucie Utilities Department relies on groundwater from the Surficial and Floridan Aquifer Systems, as well as surface‑water resources such as the McCarty Ranch Water Quality Project, to meet current and future potable water needs. As the City continues to grow, maintaining a reliable and sustainable water‑supply system requires ongoing technical evaluations, wellfield development, regulatory compliance, and specialized hydrogeologic expertise. To support these efforts, the City requires qualified hydrogeologic consultants to provide professional services on a continuing, as‑needed basis in accordance with Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, the Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA). These services will assist the City with planning, permitting, construction support, monitoring, modeling, and long‑term management of groundwater and related surface‑water systems.
