The City of Tampa Logistics and Asset Management Department Fleet Maintenance Division (FMD) is requesting proposals from qualified companies to manage and conduct public auction services, both live and/or onlin e, for a wide variety of City-owned surplu s items by maximizing revenue opportunities to be returned to the City through approved commission-based sales.

The Logistics and Asset Management Department/Fleet Maintenance Division (FMD) maintains an extensive fleet of vehicles and equipment that are essential to the delivery of municipal services. The fleet includes Light, Medium, and Heavy Trucks (Class 2 through 8, 6,001–80,000 lb. GVW), Construction Equipment and Industrial Equipment of various American and Foreign manufacturers. These vehicles and equipment support a wide variety of City operations, including public safety, emergency management, sanitation, transportation, and general municipal services.

Responses are due November 9, 2026 at 3:00 PM EST.

Questions must be submitted by October 26, 2026 at 3:00 PM EDT.

A mandatory pre-proposal conference is scheduled for October 19, 2026 at 10:00 AM EDT at 2585 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
