What the agency needs

Informal Selection from City of Pasadena - Pasadena, CA

City of Pasadena - Water & Power Department has issued informal selection, solicitation 2026-Informal-0523.

The City of Pasadena Water and Power Department seeks a qualified Contractor to provide recurring mobile truck washing services at the City Yards located at 245 W. Mountain Street, Pasadena, CA 91103. Services shall consist of express exterior-only washing for a mixed utility fleet, including pickup trucks, step vans, medium-duty trucks, and large specialty utility vehicles. The City anticipates that services will be performed every other week on Sundays between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, water, power, containment, collection, and disposal resources necessary to complete the work in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and City requirements. Because vehicle wash water may contain detergents, sediment, oils, grease, and other pollutants, wash water shall not be allowed to enter the storm drain system, street, gutter, curb, or any unauthorized drainage area. The Contractor shall be responsible for implementing appropriate best management practices to prevent unauthorized discharges and to contain, collect, reclaim, and/or lawfully dispose of wash water generated from the services. Any discharge to the sanitary sewer system or other approved location shall require prior City approval. The vehicle types and quantities are estimates only and are provided for bidding purposes. Actual vehicles presented for washing may vary by service visit based on operational needs, vehicle availability, and fleet assignments. The City does not guarantee a minimum number of vehicles for any service visit.
